Heat exchangers are devices used to transfer heat energy from one fluid to another. Shell-and-tube heat exchangers are a class of heat exchanger designs that consists of a shell with a bundle of tubes in it. One fluid runs through the tubes, and another fluid flows over the tubes (through the shell) to transfer heat between the two fluids. Shell-and-tube heat exchangers are widely used in power plants, chemical plants, petrochemical plants, refineries and natural gas processing.
We provide consultancy services as well as training for the design and fabrication of shell-and-tube heat exchangers to the requirements of ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 Code, and to the TEMA standards.
The design services include both the thermal design as well as mechanical design of heat exchangers.
